Having completed the excavation and building the back retaining wall, a steel meshed raft foundation was laid. This now becomes the floor of the basement and garage. Extra steel was used where the two water tanks will be placed. Once the conrete is laid, it needs watering twice daily. Next week, we start with the side retaining walls and sandbag filling.
